Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
GP.TOOLS (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates https://time.gioanpham.com. This policy describes, in concrete terms, what information the site actually collects today, why, where it is stored, and the choices you have. If a feature described here changes, we will update this page and the date above.
1. The short version
- No account is needed to use the site, and we do not sell personal information.
- Most tools run entirely in your browser — the files and text you put into them never reach our server.
- Information reaches our server only when a feature needs it: the contact form, the live “Chat with Admin”, and anonymous usage statistics.
2. Information you send us
Contact form. When you submit the form on the Contact page, we store the name, email address, subject, and message you enter, plus one optional image attachment (JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 2 MB). These are stored on our server so the site administrator can read and reply to you. They are not used for marketing.
Live chat (“Chat with Admin”). If you start a chat, we store the display name you choose and everything you send in that conversation: text messages, photos (up to 10 MB), videos (up to 50 MB) and voice messages (up to 15 MB). A conversation is private between you and the administrator: it can only be opened from your browser, using a random access token kept in your browser’s local storage, or by the signed-in administrator. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or other highly sensitive information through the chat.
Friend chat (“Chat with Friends”). If you use friend chat, you choose a display name and receive a personal chat code and a private identity token, kept in your browser. The permanent copy of your conversations is stored on your own device (in your browser’s local database), and you can delete it there at any time. To let you recover or re-sync your history, the server also keeps a copy of friend-chat messages — text, photos (up to 10 MB), videos (up to 50 MB) and voice messages (up to 15 MB) — and automatically deletes server copies after 30 days, with no action needed from anyone. Friend chats are between you and the person you exchange codes with; there is no administrator interface for reading them. Exchanging your chat code is like sharing your phone number — only give it to people you want to hear from. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or other highly sensitive information through any chat.
Email. If you write to us directly, we keep your message so we can respond.
3. Information collected automatically
Anonymous usage statistics. We record simple first-party events — for example which tools are opened and used, game starts and finishes, searches performed on the site, and likes — linked to a random visitor ID stored in your browser (not to your name or email). Each event also carries the visitor's country as a two-letter code provided by our CDN (Cloudflare) so we can see which countries our audience comes from; the IP address itself is not stored with these events. We use these statistics in aggregate to see what is useful and what to improve. They are stored on our own server; we do not use Google Analytics.
Technical and security data. Like any website, our server processes your IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. We also use IP addresses briefly for rate limiting and abuse prevention (for example, limiting how often new chats or uploads can be started).
4. Storage on your device
The site stores a few items in your browser’s local storage so features work and remember you: your chat session token and the name you entered (so you can return to your conversation), your chosen site-staff character and sound preference, your language choice, the random visitor ID described above, and feature data such as favorites or game results where a tool offers them. You can erase all of this at any time by clearing site data in your browser; a cleared chat session simply starts as a new conversation.
5. Cookies
Visitors are not given tracking or advertising cookies by this site. The only cookie we set is an essential sign-in cookie for the site administrator (named gp_admin_session, 8 hours, http-only) used solely in the admin area. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
6. Third-party services
- Weather (Open-Meteo). The Time page sends the name of the city you select to Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) to fetch its forecast. No account or personal profile is involved.
- YouTube (Music Player app). If you paste a YouTube link and play it, the video is embedded from YouTube and Google may set its own cookies, under Google’s policies.
- Hosting. The site runs on a server we operate; the hosting provider processes traffic as needed to deliver the site.
- Advertising. Advertising (such as Google AdSense) is not active in the current version of the site. If we enable it later, we will update this policy and the Cookie Policy first, and the provider may then use cookies to serve and measure ads.
7. How we use information
- Operate, secure, and maintain the site and its features.
- Read and reply to your contact messages and chats.
- Understand aggregate usage and improve tools and content.
- Prevent spam, abuse, and security incidents.
8. Retention and deletion
Contact messages and chat conversations are kept until the administrator deletes them or you ask us to. Uploaded files are deleted together with the message or conversation they belong to. Usage statistics are retained in aggregate form. You can request deletion of your chat or contact message at any time — see section 9.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to complain to a supervisory authority. For users in Vietnam, applicable obligations include Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection. To exercise a right, contact us through the Contact page (choose the “Privacy request” subject) or ask in the live chat — tell us the name and approximate date of the conversation or message so we can find it.
10. Children
The site is a general-audience service and is not directed at children under 13. Games and learning activities are family-friendly and do not ask children for personal information; the chat and contact form are intended for adults seeking support.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures for a site of this kind: chat media is access-controlled (only the conversation owner and the administrator can open it), the admin area requires a password, and uploads are limited by type and size. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service evolves; the “Last updated” date will change with material updates. Privacy questions or requests: [email protected] or the Contact page.
